I have never read “I Kissed Dating Goodbye“. I’m sure it’s a great book. Apologies to Joshua Harris.

lol at panel 3 :D
I was starting to laugh out loud at panel three then panel four hit. Great stuff man!
It is a good book. Perhaps a bit idealistic and unpractical. But, Josh was a huge Mike Huckabee supporter in 2008, so it’s all good.
I lol’d at panel 3, too :P
I loved I Kissed Dating Goodbye, though it’s been years since I’ve read it. I should probably read it again, since it’s more relevant to me now as a 20 year old wanting a boyfriend than it was when I was 14 and still thought boys had cooties in some form.
@TheCalvinator: I don’t think it’s unpractical, though that’s my opinion. Josh doesn’t exactly expect you to do everything he says. What he writes is to be viewed as guidelines as to how to go about relationships and dating.
Ha ha ha, great strip here Wes! I’ll have to check out the archives. Hope you had a great Turkey Day.
Ha ha! Glad you guys enjoyed this one! :)
it’s a real book? :D
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
As so many have stated, panel 3 is awesome!
In the first panel of this comic (as well as in some previous comics), Max is just staring straight ahead, slack-jawed, not really looking at Reese or conveying any emotion through his facial expression. I don’t know if this was intended or not, since this never happens to Reese, and I mean no disrespect, because your comics are funny and you have a kickass name, but still.
“I didn’t know there was a how-to book on destroying your social life.”
Man, has he never looked at the sheer number of WoW guides out there?
I’d say any RPG game guide would constitute as a how-to-book on killing your social life. Good job, John. :)
XD I so remember reading that book. It was pretty good… but I probably should re-read it. Like a poster above, I was about 14 at the time I first read it.
Oh, I remember that book. :) It made for some great late night discussions about “dating culture.”
Five Iron Frenzy??
“Five Iron Frenzy! And they were good, they were good, they were really really really good! Five Iron Frenzy! And when you see them, we really really think you should thank them for being so cool and so awesome: yeah, thank them for being so neato. Look at their teeth and then tell them to floss them. I think reese is wearing a speedo.”
… Sadly, that’s about all I know about Five Iron Frenzy. Thank you, Relient K.
I wish I would of been able to say something that clever and cute when my sister was reading that book in high school. Thanks for the laugh!
Great book. :D
Probably changed my life for the better.
