no, the best its count chocula. it is now only a halloween cereal. lucky charms gets mushy and there is nice milk sweetened tast. mr. count, you get chocolate milk! don’t think the others are quite as good. :(
Still loving the strip! My GF and I stopped in Shlegel’s (did I get the spelling right?) to check out the display. Very nice! She was somewhat disappointed you didn’t have a copy of the last YHT up for sale. She loves that one and would love an original copy. We plan to try to stop in Saturday to say HI.
I never really liked Lucky Charms as a kid because I didn’t like marshmallows (I thought they were too sweet).
I think we have free choice because God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him. Therefore in order to grow in our faith, we choose to seek Him.
Love the shirt, but shouldn’t the titles along with the definitions be reversed? Otherwise, you’re callin’ God a shirt. Tsk tsk, Christians, tsk tsk. :D
I hate to disappoint you all, but the site that sold the calvinism/arminianism t-shirt went downhill pretty quickly after I came across it (around late 2006) – shirt design quality went down, prices went up, it was an unhappy time. As of right now, the site is “closed for some maintenance” which likely means “dead.”
So, no chance at that shirt outside of eBay. Though I have been meaning to try my hand at screen printing…. hmm…
Anyway, if you’re on the lookout for awesome, fairly cheap t-shirt designs*, check out shirt.woot.com**. Different design every day, $10 every day, free shipping***! The most popular designs also remain available until their popularity is usurped by the new kid on the block****.

Long time reader since YHT, first time posting on MvM though I have been enjoying the conversations.
first off, I actually enjoy letting my raisin bran sit in the milk for a few minutes before I eat it. (but that’s the only cereal I let get soggy)
secondly, I was born and raised Arminian Christian. it wasn’t until I actually became introduced to Calvinism that I really gave it any thought. I still attend the Calvinist Church and subscribe to the doctrine, but I do believe that Calvinists and Arminiansts are just looking at the same thing from different sides. In short, I believe that free will and predestination are both 100% true, just as Jesus could be both 100% God and 100% man.
I also am a subscriber of shirt.woot I wear their shirts 6 days out of the week.
Fruity Pebbles by far get the nastiest when soaking in milk :( Lucky Charms are a “any time of day” snack and not only a breakfast food at all so it could be 3AM in this strip for all we know (been there done that!).
One more thing – The funny thing is I refuse to eat dry cereal so I have to push all the cereal into the milk before I eat it but I hate it when it gets mushy so my cereal eating is a fine line between too dry and milk anarchy in my little cereal bowl world
Wesley- I saw the Zazzle shirt but it uses ‘found’ rather than ‘chose,’ has a wonky design, and is generally a pale imitation of the majesty of the original.
Raisin Bran wins when it comes to sog-resistance. Even if they get mushy, they retain a little bit of crunch. Chex and Cheerios are among the most disappointing-yet-not-gross soggy cereals, but when it comes to “turns to mush in milk,” graham crackers take the cake.
It’s nastier when you let cocoa puffs sit. :P
Also, I wonder how many people will realize that the lucky charms are a reference to an earlier comic.

Sounds like someone is letting his Calvinism vs. Arminianism debate seep through in panel three. ; )
Max and Reese sure spend a lot of time with eachother. Going so far as to eat breakfast together.
Sounds to me like someone has been watching “Lost.”
@James, just because they’re eating Lucky Charms doesn’t mean it’s breakfast time.
Mushy cereal? Fruity Pebbles gets NASTY!
Bob – The Calvinism/Arminianism debate has a way of poking its head into every conversation I have.
Wes- I have a t-shirt I think you’d enjoy. The front says “CALVINISM: this shirt chose me”, and the back says ARMINIANISM: I chose this shirt.”
James- if you look back… oh wait, TheCalvinator covered it. Max eats lucky charms ALL FRIGGIN’ DAY. woo!
I totally want that shirt. Where’d you get it??? :)
Seconded. That would be the most awesome shirt ever to have.
The Calvinator is right. Who doesn’t want Breakfast at 6 o clock in the evening.
Most cereals get mushy if you leave them too long. I can’t think of any that I like when its been left to sit.
Why can’t we be exactly where God wants us, and yet still make our own choices? After all, we can choose to follow God!

Keep up the great work!

The last YHT is up for auction on eBay right now. I posted the link in the MvM blog.

Thank you for putting into words what I could not, Hawkman.
Split Reason, anyone?
Here is a site that sells those shirts, though I am not sure as to the quality and such. I have used Zazzle before, but not sure how they are now:

Wes, you are so right! I loves me some Fruity Pebbles, but when they get soggy they taste like warm puke!
